🎓 Class-wise Eligibility

Allied Healthcare Bachelor Courses:

For CAHET Bachelor Courses, the candidate must satisfy one accepted Class 12 science path and the common conditions below:

Age: Minimum age is 17 years on or before 31 December 2026. No maximum age is prescribed in the page summary.

English: Candidate must have passed English individually.

Marks: UR / General-EWS candidates need 50% aggregate in the relevant subjects. OBC-NCL, SC, ST and PwD/PwBD candidates need 40% aggregate.

Accepted qualification paths:

A

Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Class 12. This path is eligible for all Allied & Healthcare Bachelor Courses.

OR

B

Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12. This path is eligible only for Bachelor of Optometry and Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology.

OR

C

Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science / Statistics / Electronics / Psychology in Class 12. This path is eligible only for Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology.

Bachelor courses listed by the bulletin include B.MLS, B.OPTOM, B.AOTT, B.MRIT, B.ASLP, B.PT, B.OT and B.RTT. Selection is through counselling based on qualifying merit as per ABVMU rules.

Allied Healthcare Master Courses:

For CAHET Master Courses, the candidate must satisfy these conditions:

Age: Minimum age is 17 years on or before 31 December 2026. No upper age limit.

Marks: Minimum 50% aggregate in the relevant bachelor degree.

Relevant bachelor degree: The bachelor degree must match the selected master course as specified in the official bulletin.

Accepted master-course degree routes include:

Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Science / Technology for Master of Medical Laboratory Science.

OR

B

Bachelor of Optometry for Master of Optometry.

OR

C

Relevant B.Sc. / Bachelor degree in Operation Theatre Technology, Anaesthesia, Radiology / Imaging, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or Audiology as per the selected master course.

Master courses listed by the bulletin include Medical Laboratory Science, Optometry, Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology, Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and M.Sc. Audiology. Admission is through CAHET 2026 entrance test merit and counselling.

Bachelor course admission is conducted through counselling based on qualifying merit as described in the UG information bulletin. Master course admission is conducted through CAHET 2026 entrance test merit followed by counselling. No direct admission is allowed where the bulletin requires CAHET/counselling admission.

📝 Details

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Uttar Pradesh has opened the UP Common Allied Healthcare Admission / Entrance Test CAHET 2026 application process for Allied & Healthcare bachelor and master courses for academic session 2026-27. Bachelor course registration is for government/private allied healthcare colleges affiliated to ABVMU and institutions including SGPGIMS Lucknow, KGMU Lucknow and UPUMS Saifai. Master course admission is through the Common Allied & Healthcare Entrance Test for colleges affiliated to ABVMU and UPUMS Saifai. The online application/registration started on 02 May 2026 and the last date is 05 June 2026 up to 11:59 PM. The correction window is open from 30 May 2026 to 05 June 2026. For master courses, admit card is scheduled from 15 June 2026 and entrance examination is scheduled on 21 June 2026. Bachelor course admission is based on counselling merit as per the official bachelor bulletin. Candidates should read the UG and PG information bulletins carefully before applying because eligibility differs by course and subject combination.

Fee summary: UG fee is Rs. 750 for UR/OBC and Rs. 500 for SC/ST/PwD. PG fee is Rs. 3000 for UR/OBC and Rs. 2000 for SC/ST/PwD.
