🧭 Selection Process
For BE/B.Tech candidates, marks up to the fifth semester are considered for SSB shortlisting. For MSc/MCA/M.Tech candidates, all semesters are considered if completed, and marks up to pre-final year are considered for final year students. Final merit is prepared from SSB marks, subject to medical fitness and other official conditions.

📝 Job Description
Indian Navy has invited online applications for Short Service Commission in Executive Information Technology for the January 2027 course. The course is under the Special Naval Orientation Course commencing January 2027 onwards at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala. The application window is open from 16 May 2026 to 01 June 2026. There are 15 tentative vacancies for unmarried men and women candidates. Candidates must apply through the official Join Indian Navy website only. The entry requires a qualifying CS/IT degree route with minimum 60% overall marks and minimum 60% marks in English in Class 10 or Class 12. Shortlisting for SSB will be based on normalised marks obtained in the qualifying degree. Candidates recommended by SSB will undergo medical examination, and final appointment will be subject to merit, medical fitness, police verification, character verification and availability of vacancies.
