🎓 Class-wise Eligibility
PGAT-I: MA / MSc / MCom and Conventional PG Courses:
For PGAT-I conventional postgraduate courses, the candidate should satisfy the qualifying graduation rules for the selected subject.
- 1Passed or appearing in the qualifying graduate examination such as B.A., B.Sc., B.Com. or equivalent from University of Allahabad or a UGC-recognized university/institution.
- 2For subject-based M.A., M.Sc. and M.Com. admissions, the candidate should match the subject-applicant or permitted non-subject-applicant conditions given in the official bulletin.
- 3PGAT-I is offered in both online and offline mode as per the official press release.

For LL.B. 3 Year, the candidate should satisfy the law admission path below.

For MBA / MBA (Rural Development), the candidate should satisfy the management admission path below.

🧭 Admission Process
PGAT-2026 admission will be based on entrance test performance and the rules published by University of Allahabad. The press release states that each test will carry 300 marks with 150 MCQs and no negative marking. MBA and MBA-RD applicants must also appear in an additional test conducted by the concerned department, and final merit will use both PGAT and additional test scores.
PGAT-2026 admission University of Allahabad द्वारा प्रकाशित rules और entrance test performance के आधार पर होगा। Press release के अनुसार प्रत्येक test 300 marks का होगा, जिसमें 150 MCQs होंगे और negative marking नहीं होगी। MBA और MBA-RD applicants को concerned department द्वारा additional test भी देना होगा, और final merit PGAT तथा additional test scores के आधार पर बनेगी।
